1. Regarding Dedicated Servers

1.1 What is a dedicated server?

A dedicated server is a server reserved solely to you. Unliked with VPS or shared servers, you’re not sharing the resources with other clients or users. We grant access to our client by allowing them to have full admin access to their server.

1.2 How can I order a dedicated server?

All our servers can be bought through our shop wizard. With deployment time of 60 seconds we offer instant acces to your dedicated: performance, storage, or budget server(s).

1.3 Can I up- or downgrade my server?

Our servers are fully customizable you can up- or downgrade at any moment. The easiest way to up- or downgrade is to open a ticket in our support system. Our support team who are available 24/7, will get back to you asap.

1.4 Can I trial your servers and network?

Yes, you can trial our servers. Please send us a e-mail or if you’re already a customer open a ticket in our support system.

1.5 What happens when my trial period ends?

Our Sales team will contact you at the end of your trial period about switching to one of our monthly billable plans.

1.6 Can I pay with Paypal or Bank Transfer?

Yes, these are among the payment methods we offer. You can find all our payment methods here.

1.7 I want to install a different operating system but I can’t find the operating system I want to install.

All our servers get installed with Ubuntu by standard. You can find your operating system of choice when you’re configuring your server. If the desired operating system isn’t in our configuration panel, you can email us at: info@globedatacenter.com after you’ve completed your configuration and order. Disclaimer: not all operating systems are fully tested.


2. Regarding Colocation

2.1 What do GLOBE DataCenters colocation racks contain?

Our standard offering is multi mode fiber connection LC/SC in our colocation racks, 47U and 4 for e.g. Switches, cold aisle containment, A + B feed sockets each and 16A each on 230V fully usable, IP54 Rating. If you have special needs, please let us know.

2.2 Do you also supply optics?

Yes, we take care of the optic fibers on our side. Our customers need to supply their own optics for the connection on their side. However, we can deliver these as well if necessary, at an additional fee.


3. Regarding DDoS Protection

3.1 Can I gain access to DDoS attack details?

Yes, you can get a DDoS attack report that contains all the details about an attack that has occurred. Please open a ticket in our ticket system regarding your issue.

3.2 Our standard DDoS protection?

We offer standard protection up to 500 Gbit/s.
